1. Provider, Scope, and Contact

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the rentaskin.gg platform ("Platform") operated by:

As an online intermediary platform under the Digital Services Act (Regulation EU 2022/2065), our single point of contact for authorities and users is [email protected].

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including renters, Suppliers, and any other persons accessing or using the Platform. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected in all cases.

Differing terms of a user do not apply unless rentaskin.gg has expressly agreed to them in writing.

2. Description of Services

rentaskin.gg operates an online marketplace through which users can rent digital cosmetic items for Counter-Strike 2 ("Skins") for a fee and for a limited rental period.

Skins may be offered individually or as a set of several Skins rented together for the same rental period ("Bundle"). Unless stated otherwise, everything in these Terms that applies to a Skin applies to a Bundle as a whole.

Skins are provided either by rentaskin.gg itself or by third-party owners ("Suppliers", also referred to as lenders). In every case, your rental contract is concluded with rentaskin.gg as the trader: rentaskin.gg sets the price, collects payment, delivers and retrieves the Skin, handles refunds, and is your contact for complaints. Your consumer rights apply to every rental regardless of who owns the Skin. The relationship between rentaskin.gg and Suppliers is governed by the separate Supplier Agreement available at rentaskin.gg/supplier-terms.

A rental does not transfer ownership or any permanent right in a Skin to the renter. The renter receives only a limited, temporary, and revocable right to use the Skin during the agreed rental period. All ownership rights remain with the entitled owner.

The Platform is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Valve Corporation, Steam, Counter-Strike, or Counter-Strike 2. All related trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Availability of specific Skins may change at any time for technical, legal, operational, or market-related reasons.

Ranking. Browse results are ordered by the sort criterion you select (such as price, condition, or newest). The default order and the "Featured", "Most Popular", and "New Arrivals" sections on the home page are determined by availability, rental demand, and date added, and are curated by rentaskin.gg. Skins owned by rentaskin.gg and Skins provided by Suppliers are ranked by the same criteria. No paid placement or undisclosed ranking factor is applied.

Technical requirements. To use the Platform you need a device with internet access and a current web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, an email address, and a Steam account that is able to send and receive trade offers. The contract language is English.

Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where reasonably possible. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

3. Registration and Account

Eligibility. Only persons who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts may register. Legal entities must be represented by an authorised natural person of at least 18 years of age. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Age confirmation. During registration you must actively confirm, via an unticked checkbox, that you are at least 18 years old. This confirmation is recorded with a timestamp together with the version of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy that you accepted.

Steam authentication. The Platform uses Steam OpenID for authentication. rentaskin.gg does not request or store your Steam password. You are responsible for securing your Steam account, your email account, your Steam Trade URL, and any session credentials. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

Account data. You must provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date information, including a verified email address and a valid Steam Trade URL required for rental delivery. False or incomplete information may result in suspension, cancellation of transactions, or account deletion.

One account per person. Each natural person may hold only one user account unless we expressly permit otherwise. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits, exploit promotions, or evade enforcement measures is prohibited.

4. Rental Process (Renters)

Booking. To rent a Skin you select it, review the order summary, accept these Terms and the immediate-performance confirmation, and complete payment through the Stripe payment form. You can review and correct your selection at any time before you click the payment button. A binding rental contract is concluded when payment is successfully authorised and rentaskin.gg confirms the booking on the confirmation page. The rental price, the processing fee, any minimum order adjustment, and the rental period are shown clearly at checkout before payment (see Section 6). The current Terms are always available at rentaskin.gg/terms; your booking details are stored by rentaskin.gg and available in your profile under "Current rentals" and "History".

Rental period. The standard rental period is 7 days and begins when you accept the trade offer. Because of checkout timing, payment confirmation, delivery timing, and fixed rental end times, the effectively usable time may be a few hours shorter than 168 hours. The rental period cannot currently be extended. You may rent the same or another Skin again once it is available.

Confirmation. After successful payment you receive a receipt by email from our payment provider showing the rental, the amount paid, and the VAT included. Your rental details, including the confirmation you gave under Section 7, are also available in your profile.

Delivery. Delivery is made via a Steam trade offer. The Platform shows a trade security code for each trade offer so that you can verify that a Steam trade offer belongs to your transaction. You must ensure your Steam account can receive trade offers, your Trade URL is valid and up to date, and there are no trade bans, holds, locks, or account restrictions in place. If delivery fails due to circumstances attributable to you, rentaskin.gg may cancel the transaction.

Return — automated trade reversal. At the end of the rental period, rentaskin.gg retrieves the Skin automatically by initiating a Steam trade reversal through its bot system. You do not need to send the Skin back manually under normal circumstances. During the standard 7-day rental period, Steam's trade hold on newly received items means the Skin is technically locked in your inventory and cannot be traded away regardless. You may also return a Skin early yourself in accordance with Section 9.

Obligations if automated return fails. If our automated retrieval system does not complete successfully for any reason, you are obliged to cooperate fully with rentaskin.gg to facilitate the return of the Skin. You must not, in such a circumstance, sell, transfer, lend, pledge, sub-rent, gamble, wager, stake, or otherwise dispose of or make the Skin available to third parties. You must not take any action that would prevent, delay, or interfere with the return. You must keep your account settings, trade settings, and Steam Trade URL in a state that allows rentaskin.gg to recover the Skin. Failure to cooperate or any deliberate exploitation of a system failure will be treated as a material breach of these Terms.

Liability for non-return. If a rented Skin cannot be retrieved and this is attributable to circumstances within your control or to your deliberate conduct (including selling, gambling, transferring, or blocking recovery of the Skin), you are liable for the current market value of the Skin. Market value is determined by reference to the price displayed on the Platform, the Steam Community Market, or other objective market data.

Steam and Valve dependency. Delivery and return depend on Steam trade systems. rentaskin.gg does not control Steam or Valve and cannot guarantee that their systems, rules, or interfaces will remain unchanged. If Steam applies trade holds or restrictions beyond our control, we may adjust rental timelines accordingly. The renter remains obliged to cooperate in good faith.

5. Supplier Provisions

Applicability. This section applies to users who provide Skins to the Platform ("Suppliers"). The detailed terms for Suppliers, including revenue share, costs, return timelines, and liability, are set out in the Supplier Agreement, which each Supplier accepts when accepting a listing offer through the Platform. In case of conflict between this Section 5 and the Supplier Agreement, the Supplier Agreement prevails for the Supplier relationship.

Contributing Skins. By contributing a Skin, the Supplier authorises rentaskin.gg to list and facilitate rentals of that Skin in accordance with these Terms and the Supplier Agreement. The Supplier warrants that they are legally entitled to provide the Skin, that it is not stolen or subject to third-party claims, and that providing it does not violate any contract, law, Steam rule, or Valve rule.

Revenue share and payouts. Suppliers receive the revenue share stated in the listing offer they accept through the Platform. The proposed rental price and revenue share are displayed before the Supplier accepts. All Supplier payouts are processed through Stripe Connect. Suppliers must complete all required Stripe Connect onboarding and verification steps, including identity, bank account, and tax information, before accepting offers that require payout verification. Payouts may be delayed, withheld, or reversed due to chargebacks, fraud, refunds, legal obligations, Stripe requirements, or breach of these Terms.

Trader traceability. Suppliers acting as commercial sellers are subject to trader traceability obligations under the Digital Services Act (Art. 30). This information is collected and verified during Stripe Connect onboarding.

Return of Supplier Skins. A Supplier may request return of their Skin through the Platform. Where the Skin is currently rented, return is processed after the active rental period ends plus any applicable trade lock or processing time. Maximum expected return time from request: 37 days (up to 7 days for an active rental to end plus up to 30 days for Steam-imposed trade locks, restrictions, and processing).

Risk notice. Providing Skins involves operational risks including renter default, Steam restrictions, trade locks, account bans, and market price volatility. rentaskin.gg takes reasonable security measures but cannot eliminate all risks.

Business Supplier users (P2B). Where Suppliers are business users, rentaskin.gg complies with Regulation (EU) 2019/1150. Changes materially affecting business Supplier users will be notified at least 15 days in advance, and termination of the Supplier relationship is notified at least 30 days in advance except in the cases permitted by that Regulation. Reasons will be provided for restrictions, suspensions, or de-listings of items. Suppliers can see the rental activity, earnings, payout status, and withdrawal status of their own Skins in the Supplier dashboard; rentaskin.gg does not share renters' personal data with Suppliers.

6. Prices, Fees, and Payment

Prices and fees. At checkout, before payment, the final payable amount is shown. It consists of the rental price, a processing fee that covers payment-provider costs (the amount is shown at checkout), and, where the order would otherwise fall below the minimum amount our payment provider can process, a minimum order adjustment shown as a separate line. Pricing may change for future transactions at any time.

VAT. All prices shown to consumers are final prices and include value added tax where it applies. The amount you pay consists of components that are subject to VAT (the services provided by rentaskin.gg) and, where the Skin is provided by a private Supplier, a component attributable to the Supplier that is outside the scope of VAT. VAT is applied to the taxable components at the rate applicable in your country of residence in accordance with the EU One-Stop-Shop rules for electronically supplied services; for customers outside the EU, VAT may not apply. Your payment receipt shows the VAT amount and rate. The Platform is intended for consumers; VAT invoices for business customers with reverse-charge treatment are not issued.

Billing address. To determine the applicable VAT and to comply with tax-law evidence requirements, you must provide your billing address (at least country and postal code) at checkout. Providing a false billing address is a breach of these Terms.

Currency. Prices are set in euro. For your convenience, prices may be displayed in another currency based on your location or your selection, converted using European Central Bank reference rates. The amount charged is the amount shown at checkout in the currency shown there. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion fees.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. or the applicable Stripe entity). Stripe handles PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing and PSD2 strong customer authentication. rentaskin.gg does not store full card numbers on its own servers. Payment is due before the rental period begins.

Accepted payment methods. Accepted methods are those shown in the checkout flow (typically card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods enabled by Stripe for your region). Available methods may vary by country and payment provider availability.

Failed payments and chargebacks. If a payment fails, is reversed, disputed, or charged back, rentaskin.gg may cancel the rental, block delivery, suspend the account, request immediate return of the Skin, and pursue recovery of outstanding amounts by lawful means. You remain responsible for amounts properly due under these Terms.

7. Right of Withdrawal

General rule. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days from conclusion of the contract, without giving a reason.

Immediate performance waiver. At checkout, you are asked to actively confirm via an unticked checkbox that you expressly request immediate performance of the digital rental service before the end of the withdrawal period, and that you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. The service is fully performed once the Skin has been delivered to your Steam account, that is, once you have accepted the trade offer. Where this confirmation has been given and the Skin has been delivered, the right of withdrawal is lost.

Exercising withdrawal (where applicable). To exercise the right of withdrawal where it has not expired, notify us at [email protected] or use the model withdrawal form available at rentaskin.gg/withdrawal-form before the withdrawal period expires. The model withdrawal form is also available on that page as required by the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under the law of your country of residence.

8. Refund Policy

Independently of your statutory rights, you may return an active rental early and receive a partial refund under Section 9. Section 9 is a voluntary Platform feature and does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.

Unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, other refunds are excluded once the service has been fully performed, that is, once the Skin has been successfully delivered and made available for the agreed rental period.

If a booked Skin cannot be delivered due to a technical error attributable to rentaskin.gg and no reasonable substitute or retry is available, the rental fee may be refunded fully or pro rata.

No refund is owed where delivery or use fails due to circumstances attributable to you, including an incorrect or expired Steam Trade URL, trade bans or holds on your account, inventory restrictions, refusal to accept a trade offer, breach of these Terms, or payment fraud.

Your mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected in all cases.

9. Early Return and Partial Refund

Voluntary early return. You may end an active rental early by reversing the delivery trade through Steam's own trade-reversal (restore) function, following the instructions in your profile under "Current rentals" and at rentaskin.gg/early-return. Once Steam confirms the reversal and rentaskin.gg verifies it, you receive a partial refund of the rental price to your original payment method:

• Reversal confirmed on days 1 to 3 of the rental period: 70% of the rental price.
• Reversal confirmed on days 4 to 5: 60% of the rental price.
• Reversal confirmed on day 6 or later: 50% of the rental price.

The processing fee and any minimum order adjustment are not refunded. Refunds include the VAT attributable to the refunded amount. Refunds are initiated automatically. Depending on your payment provider, it may take several business days for the amount to appear on your statement.

Steam consequences. Steam's trade reversal is account-wide and is operated by Steam, not by rentaskin.gg. By initiating it you acknowledge that Steam reverses every eligible trade-protected trade on your account from the protected period, including trades unrelated to rentaskin.gg; cancels your pending trade offers; returns your Steam Community Market listings to your inventory; and applies a 30-day restriction on trading and on the Steam Community Market. rentaskin.gg is not responsible for these consequences.

Bundles and multiple rentals. If you have several active rentals or a Bundle, the reversal returns all eligible items together. The refund tier is determined per rental based on the day on which the reversal is confirmed.

10. Prohibited Use

The following actions are prohibited on the Platform:

• Using the Platform if you are under 18 years old.
• Providing false identity, payment, Steam, or registration information.
• Creating multiple accounts without permission.
• Renting Skins for resale, sub-rental, gambling, wagering, staking, or commercial exploitation.
• Using bots, scripts, scraping tools, or automated systems to access the Platform without permission.
• Circumventing security measures, verification checks, rate limits, or technical protections.
• Exploiting bugs, API errors, payment errors, or trade errors.
• Fraud, identity theft, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or misrepresentation.
• Using stolen payment methods, Steam accounts, or Skins.
• Money laundering, sanctions evasion, terrorist financing, or circumvention of financial regulations.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users, support staff, or rentaskin.gg.
• Interfering with ongoing rentals or the return process.
• Violating Steam, Valve, or game publisher rules.

In the event of a violation, rentaskin.gg may suspend or delete the account, cancel transactions, request return of Skins, withhold payouts where legally permitted, report activity to payment providers or authorities, and claim damages.

11. Liability

General. rentaskin.gg is liable without limitation for damages caused by intentional misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, injury to life, body, or health, and any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law (including mandatory consumer and data protection law).

Slight negligence. For slight negligence, rentaskin.gg is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations — those whose fulfilment enables proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance the user may reasonably rely. In such cases, liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage.

Third-party systems. rentaskin.gg is not liable for damages arising from Steam, Valve, game publishers, payment providers, banks, card networks, or authorities restricting, delaying, blocking, or technically preventing Skin transfers, account access, payments, or related processes.

Force majeure. rentaskin.gg is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including cyber attacks, internet or infrastructure outages, Steam or Valve decisions, legal changes, natural disasters, power outages, sanctions, or acts of authorities.

No Skin value guarantee. rentaskin.gg does not guarantee the future value, availability, liquidity, tradability, or market price of any Skin. Skin values may fluctuate significantly.

User liability. You are liable for losses and damages caused by your intentional misconduct, fraud, abuse, non-return of Skins, or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Rights

All Platform content, including design, text, graphics, logos, software, workflows, databases, and interface elements, is protected by intellectual property law and owned by rentaskin.gg or used with permission. Reproduction, distribution, modification, or reverse engineering without express permission is prohibited unless legally permitted.

CS2 Skins, game names, item names, images, and trademarks — in particular those of Valve Corporation — are the property of their respective rights holders. rentaskin.gg does not claim ownership over Valve, Steam, Counter-Strike, or Counter-Strike 2 trademarks or content.

13. Promotions and Giveaways

rentaskin.gg may run giveaways and promotions. Each giveaway has its own terms shown on the giveaway page, which apply in addition to these Terms. Participation may require connecting a Discord account and completing the requirements listed on the giveaway page. Giveaways are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Valve, Discord, or TikTok.

14. Termination and Account Suspension

Termination by the user. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting [email protected]. Open rental obligations, payment obligations, unresolved disputes, legal retention duties, Skin return obligations, and fraud investigations are not affected by account deletion.

Termination by rentaskin.gg. rentaskin.gg may terminate this agreement with 14 days' notice to consumers. The right to immediate suspension or termination for good cause remains unaffected. Good cause includes: serious or repeated breach of these Terms, fraud or suspected fraud, payment default, chargeback abuse, false registration information, underage use, non-return of Skins, use of stolen accounts or payment methods, or a legal or regulatory requirement.

Statement of reasons (DSA Art. 17). Where rentaskin.gg restricts or terminates an account, it will provide a clear statement of reasons in accordance with the Digital Services Act. Users may submit an internal complaint within six months of receiving the restriction.

Internal complaint handling (DSA Art. 20). To submit an internal complaint regarding an account restriction or content removal, contact [email protected] within six months of the restriction.

Reporting illegal content (DSA Art. 16). Users may report illegal content or listings by contacting [email protected].

15. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

For complaints, technical issues, payment questions, rental disputes, or data protection requests, contact us at [email protected] or through our support page. Please include your Steam name, the rental or checkout reference, and a description of the issue. We respond to consumer complaints within 14 days of receipt.

Out-of-court dispute resolution. Consumers may use alternative dispute resolution. In Poland, the competent bodies are the Voivodeship Inspectorates of the Trade Inspection (Wojewódzkie Inspektoraty Inspekcji Handlowej, uokik.gov.pl); consumers may also seek free help from municipal or district consumer ombudsmen. Consumers in other EU countries may contact the ADR body in their country of residence. rentaskin.gg is not obliged to participate in such proceedings and will decide on a case-by-case basis unless mandatory Polish or EU law requires participation. Out-of-court dispute settlement bodies certified under the Digital Services Act (Art. 21) may also be used for disputes about account restrictions or content decisions.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Polish law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

For business users, the place of jurisdiction is Rzeszów, Poland, to the extent legally permitted.

For consumers, the statutory jurisdiction rules of your country of residence apply. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.

17. Final Provisions

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as legally possible to the economic purpose of the original.

Amendments. rentaskin.gg may amend these Terms with future effect where necessary due to changes in law, technical processes, payment processing, Steam or Valve rules, or for other legitimate operational reasons. The current version, its effective date, and a summary of changes are published on the Platform. Where changes are material, you will be informed on your next login and asked to review and accept the revised Terms before continuing to use the Platform. For changes materially affecting business Supplier users, at least 15 days' notice is given in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1150. If you do not accept the revised Terms, you may stop using the Platform and request account deletion. Rentals concluded before the effective date remain subject to the Terms in force at the time of booking; open rental, return, and payment obligations remain unaffected.
